"Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" - Grant Wood
Great art speaks powerfully, inspires fresh thinking,
and connects us to our past.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Line, Shape, Color, Pattern, Texture?
All classes are off to a great start this year. As we finish work, it is displayed in the hallway. A variety of work will also be selected for the First Hope Bank exhibit in December and the county-wide exhibit in Great Meadows.
There will be school projects – bookmarks for “Read Across America”, Municipal Alliance Calendar design, and many individual poster contests for those who like the challenge.
Look for our featured student artist of the month in the Panther Prints newsletter. One student from grades 1 – 8 will be selected and have their work displayed in the art room for an entire month.
All students are encouraged to bring in an art shirt to protect their clothing on their class day.
Art can be messy!
“What moves men of genius, or rather what inspires their work, is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not enough.”
