My name is Cathy Trotter and I will be your child’s teacher this year.  I am so excited about the new school year!

As a parent, I know how important your child’s education is to you. I am committed to creating a caring, supportive, learning environment for your child. I will encourage your child to strive for success and will work with you to ensure a positive learning experience. As partners in your child’s education, together we can achieve more! Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions during the school year.

I am attaching some important information to help prepare you for the new school year. Also, please complete the interview form and send it back with your child by September 10th. This will help me learn more about your child’s special interests and talents!

I am delighted to have your child in my class, and I look forward to a rewarding school year!

Sincerely,

Cathy Trotter

Specials:

Monday -  Library/Technology

Tuesday - Music

Wednesday - Gym

Thursday - Art/Spanish

Friday - Gym

Snack:

Please send in a healthy, dry snack for your child that they can eat independently. Due to a late lunch this year, we will be having a snack in the classroom mid-morning.

Lunch:

Please send in your child’s lunch money in an envelope or bag with your child’s name labeled on it.

Birthdays:

I am happy to celebrate birthdays in school. If you wish to send in a special treat, it must follow the school’s nutrition policy and be approved by the school nurse one day in advance due to food allergies. Please send me a note or give me a call so that I can plan accordingly.

I would ask that you do not distribute birthday invitations in school unless the entire class is invited in order to avoid hurt feelings. Thank you for your cooperation with this sensitive matter.
