On Tuesday, November 5th, the students of Hope Township School attended a
Veterans Day Observance assembly. The eighth-grade students who presented this event created Google slide presentations to provide information concerning the history of Veterans Day and the five branches of the United States military.
In addition, Mr. John Chechelo, a former Marine who served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970 and earned a Purple Heart, was the guest speaker. He is passionate about veterans’ issues and is active with the American Legion.
This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to learn about how veterans have served their country and their sacrifices to ensure our country’s freedom.
Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans.

We are PROUD of our Panthers!
